My neck still hurts from trying to bend it to get a view of the top of the building. Seeing the world’s tallest building wasn’t the only record we experienced. We also rode the fastest elevator in the world (up to the 123 floor) where we then ate at the most elevated restaurant in the world. Since it’s Ramadan, we had to pull some strings to get the restaurant to stay open for us, but this also meant we were the only ones there!
Kind of a random thing to mention, but if you happen to visit the washroom on the 123rd floor of the Burj Khalifa, expect to feel like you’re being interrogated by Soviet soldiers or something. It is about a metre long enclosure with no light except for a single spotlight overhead.
