Reason: "As you may have seen from my list, I'm a kind of guy who likes traveling a route less travel. People usually go to Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France when they are traveling to Europe, but for me, I'm more interested in the history of the post communist countries. :)"
When I decided to set off for my 3 months Eastern Europe trip in January 2018, people asked me why? "It's winter there, you can't do anything with that weather". They were right, it was during the time when the "beast from the east" hit Europe and the temperature went down to -16 but they were also wrong. There are plenty of things to do in Poland even in winter as you can see from the video I attached.
I spent almost 3 months in Poland basing myself off Krakow and 3 full weeks exploring the country going around from Warsaw, Torun, Gdansk, Malbork, Poznan, Wroclaw, Zakopane and then back to Krakow. I was able to see Poland from both sides of the coin, the winter, and spring sides and see what life is like during those time. The entire experience was eye-opening and one quite unforgettable.
