At the beginning of 2018, I set out on my second Eurotrip, this time I would be exploring the East and a little bit of northern and central part of Europe. My journey began in Krakow where I will be basing myself off while exploring the colorful culture of Poland.
Krakow is known for its both beautiful and tragic history, from a dreamy fairy tale like the old main square to the infamous Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz. Krakow showed me Poland from both ends of the history spectrum, the prosperous and the tragic.
I believe it is important to see the country as it is and not romanticize any part of it. That way, understanding the people who live there become a little easier.
