Reason: "I have always been fascinated space and astronomy ever since I was a little boy. I was surprised to see many people captured the Milky Way wit their cameras and so I am now set off to hunt the Milky Way with my camera as well. :)"
I gave myself an early birthday present and took myself to the Himalayas trekking the Annapurna Base Camp for 10 days.
At the altitude I was secretly hoping to see the milky way and I was not disappointed at all. As everyone was about to sleep at the base camp, I decided to sit out in the middle of the night and look at stars. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness I started seeing a color hue in a straight line going upward. I decided to whip out my camera, set the shutter speed to 15 seconds and set the ISO to 6400 and these are the result I got.
For the first time in my life that I saw the Milky Way with my own eyes. All those sweat and tears while trekking was all but lifted after I gazed and stared at the stars for hours.
