Reason: "I want to kick start my design freelance career and in order to do that, I need an online presence showcasing my work."
Decided to take a plunge and start my personal website, The Peach Design. The work I had on the site was an accumulation of my T-shirt design submissions to Threadless.com (that failed :) )
If you want to start creating your design portfolio but you do not have enough content, try participating in T-shirt design competition offered by Threadless, DesignByHuman etc. Learn from the celebrities in these communities to build up a quality portfolio.
